Privacy Policy

Felt Flight · Last updated: 2 October 2026 (Remove ads purchase added)

Felt Flight ("the app" or "the game") is made by Dusk Moon Studio, the trading name of Arun, an independent developer in Kerala, India ("we", "us"). This policy explains what information the game uses, and why. It applies to the Android app and any other version of Felt Flight we release.

The short version

  • Felt Flight is made for players of all ages, including children.
  • There are no accounts and no chat. The only purchase is an optional one-time "Remove ads".
  • We do not collect, see or store any personal information. We have no servers and no analytics.
  • The free game shows ads from Google AdMob. Every ad request is marked as child-directed, ads are limited to general-audience content and are not personalised, and the app does not use your phone's advertising ID.

1. Information stored only on your device

The game saves your best distance and button count, the levels you have finished, and your settings (music, sound effects, vibration, screen orientation). This stays on your phone. We never receive it. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its storage, deletes it.

2. Information we collect

None. Felt Flight does not ask for your name, email, age, phone number, photos, contacts or location, and it has no sign-in. We do not use analytics or crash-reporting services.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

To keep the game free, it shows banner ads, an optional "watch an ad to keep flying" ad, and a short full-screen ad between some flights. Ads are supplied by Google AdMob, which is certified under Google Play's Families Self-Certified Ads SDK Program.

Because the game is made for all ages, we treat every player as a child:

To deliver ads, prevent fraud and count how many ads are shown, Google's ad software necessarily processes some technical information when your phone is online:

InformationWhy
IP address (which can show your approximate area, such as your country or city)To send the ad to your phone and to choose ads allowed in your region
Device and app information, such as phone model, Android version, language and the app's version, and the app set ID (an ID that is specific to apps from one developer, not the advertising ID)To show an ad that fits your screen, to measure ads and to prevent fraud
Ad interactions, such as whether an ad was shown, tapped or watched to the endTo count ads, pay us for them and give the reward in the "keep flying" ad
Performance and diagnostic information about the ad softwareTo keep ads working properly

This information goes to Google, not to us. Google handles it under its own policies, and limits what it does with child-directed requests. See How Google uses information from apps that use its services, Google's privacy policy and AdMob and the Google Play Families policy.

Ads may include links that open a website or the Play Store. Those sites have their own privacy policies. If your phone is offline, no ads are requested and the game still works.

4. Remove ads purchase

You can pay once to remove ads. The purchase is made and paid for through Google Play, which handles your payment details under Google's privacy policy. We never see your name, email or card details. The game only learns from Google Play whether this Google account owns the purchase, and remembers that on the phone so ads stay off. Google Play's own settings can require a parent's approval for purchases.

5. Sharing a score

When you tap Share, the game makes a score message (and, on some phones, a score image) on your device and opens your phone's share menu. You choose where it goes. We do not receive it. Parents may wish to supervise sharing by young children.

6. Permissions the app uses

The app does not ask for location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or storage permissions.

7. Children

Felt Flight is designed for everyone, including children under 13 (and under 16 in the EU and UK). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and the game gives no way to enter it. The only information processed is the technical information described in section 3, which Google processes under its child-directed rules.

Parents and guardians: because we hold no information about your child, there is nothing for us to review or delete. You can delete everything the game stores by uninstalling it. If you have any question or concern, write to us at the address below and we will reply.

8. Your rights

Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU and UK GDPR, the California Consumer Privacy Act, Brazil's LGPD and India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act give you rights to access, correct or delete personal data, and to complain to a data protection authority. As we do not hold any personal data about you, we cannot identify you in a request, but you are welcome to contact us. For information processed by Google for ads, you can use Google's privacy tools or contact Google.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

9. Security and storage

Information exchanged with Google's ad servers is encrypted in transit. Google may process it in countries other than yours, under its own safeguards. Information the game keeps on your phone is protected by your phone's own security.

10. Changes to this policy

If we change how the game handles information, we will update this page and the date at the top before the change takes effect. If a change means collecting more information, we will say so in the app's release notes.
